• Dr Stuart Geard (BVSc/BVet.Biol (HONS), BSc (Syd) – Owner – Director
Stuart is a veterinarian specialising in bovine embryo transfer. After working and traveling with Dr Rick Tindal for 2 years, Stuart purchased Holbrook Breeders in 2016. As supervising veterinarian Stuart oversees the running of the Dept. of Agriculture licensed artificial breeding centre. Stuart is export accredited for semen and embryo production. Stuart and his wife Annie also run a 1800 acre cattle property in Mangoplah, between Holbrook and Wagga Wagga.
• Dr Rick Tindal (BVSc) – Reproduction Consultant
Rick is a veterinarian specialising in beef cattle production. He was the co-founder of Holbrook Breeders in 1993. Rick retired at the end of 2016, but still has a keen interest in Holbrook Breeders and is happy to lend his expertise when required.
• Tracy Robbins, (BAgSc (Hons)) – ET Co-ordinator
Tracy has been a part of the team for over 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) and handles all day to day management of the AI and ET programs.
• Amanda Pincott – Embryologist
Amanda Joined the team in 2016 as Stuart’s chief embryo assistant. Amanda is in her final year of a Bachelor of Animal Science degree at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. Amanda family run a mixed farming enterprise at Tarcutta, NSW.
• Debbie Mills – Operations Manager
Debbie has been with Holbrook Breeders since 1993. She was initially involved with the embryo transfer work before starting in the semen collection service. Debbie has extensive knowledge of the Australian beef cattle industry. Debbie’s family run a cattle and horse property east of Holbrook.
• Jodie Mohr – Laboratory Technician
Jodie is a local Holbrook resident and is responsible for semen collection, processing and testing. Having been involved with the Ag Team at school Jodie has continued on with her passion for cattle and is a valued member of our team.
• Carey Fenton – Farm/Office Assistant
Carey joined us in 2014 to assist in despatch. We have expanded her duties to include Lab Technician responsibilities in semen production. Carey has a lifetime of experience in the cattle business and we are extremely lucky to have found her.
• Garry Hedger – Farm/Livestock Operations Manager
Garry started at Holbrook Breeders in 2006, he maintains the licensed centre as well as programming donor cows for embryo transfer work, collecting the semen and is our resident inseminator. Garry and his family run a Limousin stud in Culcairn. Garry is well known to many from his many years of showing and breeding high quality cattle.
