Dr Stuart Geard (BVSc/BVet.Biol (HONS), BSc (Syd) – Owner – Director

Stuart is a veterinarian specialising in bovine embryo transfer. Stuart has a wealth of knowledge regarding bovine reproduction and is well versed in bovine reproductive physiology.

Stuart practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian and owned a veterinary hospital on the south coast of NSW before focusing solely on bovine embryo transfer.

Stuart’s initial introduction to embryo transfer training was with Dr Gabriel Bo’ (Argentina) and continued under the guidance and mentorship of former HBA owner Dr Rick Tindal, Stuart purchased HBA in 2016. Stuart and his wife Annie live on the family mixed cropping and grazing property in Mangoplah, along with their children Fletcher, Hector and Florence. Stuart loves his rugby, chatting all things cattle and is passionate about achieving the best results he can for his great clients.


 

Debbie Mills – Operations Manager

Debbie has been with Holbrook Breeders Australia since 1993. She was initially involved with the embryo transfer work before starting in the semen collection service.

Debbie now specialises in import and export, additionally, overseeing the running of HBA. Debbie has extensive knowledge of the Australian cattle industry and cattle reproduction.

In her spare time, Debbie helps run the family’s cattle and famous Berragoon Australian Stock Horse stud on their property east of Holbrook.


 

Jodie Mohr – Laboratory Technician

Jodie is responsible for coordinating semen collection, processing and semen testing. Jodie divides her time between the collection shed and the laboratory, and is extremely experienced in assessing semen.

Jodie is a great member of our team and is always happy to chat with clients about their bulls. Additionally, Jodie oversees uniform designing.


 

Jodie Ross – Farm/Office Assistant

Jodie re-joined HBA in January 2018 after spending 2 years working in Canada. Jodie has grown up around cattle and has a wealth of knowledge. Jodie is found primarily in dispatch and in the semen processing laboratory. 

Jodie loves getting out on the farm and managing donor programs. Jodie is a very good stockwoman.
