On Farm Embryo Collection and Transfer

Holbrook Breeders Australia operates a fully equipped mobile laboratory, providing comprehensive on farm embryo transfer services. We currently service northern Victoria, NSW and southern Queensland. The mobile Laboratory provides a clean, climate controlled consistent environment to process embryos and ensure optimal results. We cater for both large and small embryo transfer programs.

    Holbrook Breeders Australia provides two embryo collection facilities, one in Holbrook NSW (export) and the other in Mangoplah NSW (domestic). Donors are delivered to the centres, where they are fully managed by our staff for the entire embryo collection and transfer programs. Programs run approximately every 6 weeks.

    Dr Stuart Geard heads our very experienced Department of Agriculture accredited Export Collection Team. Export embryo collection takes place on our accredited Holbrook facility. Additionally, our mobile laboratory is also accredited for export collection on farm for appropriate countries. Donors are delivered to the centres, where they are fully managed by our staff for the entire embryo collection program, which includes health testing and quarantine, to qualify the embryos for their designated country.
